Actress Rani Mukerji's brother Raja Mukherji, a television producer, has been reportedly arrested by police officials after an aspiring actress accused him of molesting her and seeking sexual favours in return of a role.
Police sources claim that the complainant, one Priya Sharma (name changed to protect identity) had gone to visit Raja for professional reasons and in the course of the meeting, Raja demanded sexual favours and also tried to molest her in his car. Following the incident, the actress approached the police and pressed charged against Raja, who was promptly arrested.
The arrested Raja was subjected to a medical test and will be soon produced before a Metropolitan Magistrate in suburban Andheri.
